I can't rmb how I came across Lazada but if I were to describe it, it is pretty much similar to Amazon.
You can find mostly everything but I'd suggest NOT buying clothes from there because they're really ugly -.-
For clothes, I'd still prefer Zalora.
Anyway, I've used Lazada twice. And on my 2nd purchase, I bought 3 items
Both times, my items wwere shipped out very fast via Taqbin! Like 2 days later?
Shipping is free if you spend $50 above.
Here's what I bought:
I bought a Microsoft Comfort 3000 Wired Mouse Black which costs $23, I think the UP is $25.
Victoria's Secret Midnight Dare Fragrance Mist 250ml at $12? UP I think $20, or 3 for $55? Not quite sure.
Anyway, I haven't smell if this is good lol, cons of buying fragrance mist online.
Also bought Black Selfie Monopod + Black Bluetooth Remote Shutter, LOL which is $8. Haven't try it, but I hope it doesn't spoil when I bring it for my cruise.
Do look out for discount codes to save more money.
Speaking of cruise, I'd be going on a 5d4n cruise to Langkawi and Phuket via Costa Cruise.
This is my virgin cruise lol and I hope it is fun.
will be blogging about it after my trip :)

Salut Coffeeshop @ 119 Bukit Merah Lane 1
For those living in the Central West, you might want to check out this coffeeshop which sells "atas" food at a... well not-very-cheap-but-affordable price.
French, Italian, German food are served here.
Bf ordered the Pork Knucle from Stew Kuche - to me, it was just too much meat.
On the other hand, it was well worth the price.
The meat was pretty juicy and the skin was crispy.
I hate the sides though - achar (whut?) and that tasteless cabbage (wtf)
Ordered one of the most expensive fruit juice from a kopitiam though - beetroot apple orange juice was not one of the best I had (that's the $2 ABC at Amoy St) but costs like $6.80?!
Somehow I still find that the best I had was at Saveur.
However, this duck confit was pretty tasty too - crispy skin, juicy meat- except the portion is kinda small.
Overall, a good experience at Salut except that it was hot and cramped and....not very cheap
Eggs & Berries - Changi City Point
For the Westies, Changi City Point (CCP) is totally ulu.
The burger set was disappointing - but I'm salivating right now because I'm hungry
Ordered the Eggs Benedict Solo since I didn't want 2 eggs.
Pretty good as compared to the burger set.
Went there one day specially for "cheap" Nike
Did you know that CCP is a shopping malls that holds many outlet stores? Just like Anchorpoint, but larger.
Goods are generally cheaper here. Anyway, I'm happy to score a pair of sneakers from Nike at $30
wahhaha, it was actually 1 size bigger, but IDC, if i wear it with socks, it's fine.
Anyway, we headed to Eggs and Berries for lunch.
Pretty good as compared to the burger set.
Might come here again for their pancakes

Azmaya 東屋 Japanese Restaurant - Robertson Quay
Came to Azmaya for their shabu shabu after purchasing a deal voucher.
For the amount we paid, the portion was just soo generous!
3 boxes of pork
Drinks, gst and svs charges are not included in the deal.
For this Asahi beer, we had to pay $10++, not cheap, but well, the deal was cheap la.
Overall, quite a good dining experience there, except that the Japanese staff there seemed overworked and overwhelmed by the customers.
Had to keep calling them to refill the chicken soup base.
If you love shabu shabu, why not go to this shop to try?

Hanare Japanese Restaurant - Teppei
Hola! Introducing another Jap find again.
This time, it's Teppei's sister restaurant, Hanare.
For the uninitiated, Teppei is famous for it's affordable omakase.
As for Hanare, I guess it's their affordable chirashi don?
He had the chirashi don, while I went for the Anago Steam Rice.
Realise anago was another version of unagi/eel. There's a difference between them but I'd leave google to explain.
Both sets come with various sides, but be warned that the sides are pretty dull, boring and....not very yummy la
Look at the chunks of tuna and salmon!
It looks pretty nice, but we were rather disappointed with this bowl. I guess it's not worth the hype? We both agreed The Sushi Bar serves better and fresher chirashi.
The only plus point was the price, at around $18.
Interior:
The restaurant is really small and cramp. I guess you get what you pay.
One thing I'd like to comment was the chairs in the restaurant. I always nearly trip when I whiz past other diners to get my buffet sides.
Buffet sides for chirashi don... damn sian
Sides for my main course...also sian
Curry which I didn't try
Very small hor
The sides I took:
See liao also sian, haix
My anago steam rice was the best.
The steam rice is brownish in colour and taste superb. For $19.90 with sides (disappointing, though) and drinks (tea), I guess it's worth a visit.
But just once will do.
Overall, ok, but I won't go back.

Deal.com.sg Voucher Review- The Infinity Hair Art, Orchard *SCAPE
$28 for Matrix Hair Colour or Highlights + Hair Spa Treatment at The Infinity Hair Art, Orchard *SCAPE - Includes Wash + Blow Dry for All Hair Length for Men & Women (Morocco Argan Oil + Matrix Sensoria Hair Treatment + Senior Stylist Haircut available)
Bought this deal voucher from deal.com.sg and used it today.
The Cons
- Please top-up extra
I am very prepared for hardselling when using deal vouchers.Just rmb to say NO for things you do not wish to add on. It's up to you, but the reason I buy deal vouchers is because it's more affordable than a $40-50++++ hair dye at the usual salon.
In the case of Infinity Hair Art, they tried to get me to top up extra money for the following:
- one of the staff advised me to top-up ($18 or $28?) to another brand of hair dye. He said Matrix hair dye is not bright enough and more suitable for aunties who wanna dye their greying hair. I said NO and was firm to go ahead with using Matrix color.
- Thereafter, they tried to persuade me by telling me to opt for non-ammonia hair dye and to put on a extra treatment/protection to protect my roots. I refused politely as well.
- during hair washing, they asked if I'd like to top-up extra for a proper treatment using the machine. I told them I'd just need the normal treatment as with the deal.
2. Inexperienced staff
The staff there were young and rather inexperienced. I had 3-4 staff hovering around me
They had different staff helping me with the following:
- 2 staff to dye my hair - 1 on my left and another on my right
- alternate 3 staff to massage/wash my hair
- alternate 3 staff to comb, blow dry my hair
I've no qualms with these extra pair of hands aka extra "attention". But I just felt the service was not sincere enough.
Why need so many pair of hands around a person's head?
3. They took freaking long....
I got kinda irritated that I had to sit there for rather long for someone to dye my hair, to wash my hair, to blow dry...
But guess what, the time the dye was left to set into my hair was rather short -.-
4. Indeed, Matrix (really?) colour was not bright enough
I left the salon with a more even-coloured crown, but it was as if I didn't change my hair color.
Oh well, nevermind.
Pros
- While they tried to get me to top-up stuffs, they were not persistent
- They were not rude when I said NO (not sure if they talked behind my back though)
- Rather polite staff although they kept chatting among themselves like I was invisible
- Offers tea or water as service
- Took a very long time to blow-dry my hair, but I guess it also meant they put in quite some effort to make sure my hair was set straight.
- No strong ammonia smell
- Treatment was pretty good

食立方 Shi Li Fang hotpot - Orchard Central deal.com.sg
I don't know about you, but I'm running out of ideas of where to eat.
These days we've been eating Jap food and I'm getting bored of it.
Came across an affordable eat while googling dining options in town and saw a deal on deal.com.sg!
LAUNCH EXCLUSIVE: Newly Opened 'Shi Li Fang' in Orchard Central, Indulge In Deliciously Healthy Steamboat with $15 for $30 Cash Voucher - Choose From More Than 80 Varieties dishes With No MSG & Preservatives Added (Unlimited Redemption and Valid Daily)
And so...we headed to Shi Li Fang for Saturday night dinner.
We had their set dinner which comes with meat, soup base and drinks. We ordered 1 barley and 1 water chestnut drinks.
Try the sesame peanut sauce. I like it.
We ordered 2 sets - 1 beef with fish soup and 1 Shi Li Fang pork tenderloin with tonic chicken soup. Each set comes with various veggies and egg.
BTW, the 2 pieces of white things are not tofu haha
These are handmade noodles for you to put into your soup!
This is the tonic chicken soup with the pork (the photo shows that it's marinated and brown but my pork was really fair haha)
I rec you to try the tonic chicken soup!
Each diner will have their own induction cooker which you can dip your meat in. It was quite an interesting experience - generally, we share a big pot of soup among a group for hotpot/steamboat/shabu shabu.
It was also fun to DIY your handmade noodles! hehe
I'm really pleased with what I had because everything were fresh!
Furthermore, the deal voucher made it more worthwhile!
If you are running out of dining options, try Shi Li Fang :)

Le Cuisine by Chef Daniel Koh (sucks)
Located in Chinatown Point, this "restaurant" is owned by self-titled "Celebrity" Chef Daniel Koh.
He appeared quite regularly on TV.
Anyway, the purpose of my post is to remind you not to waste your money in this store.
Nope, they didn't pissed me off with their service. But then again, they do not serve water. So if you ask, please be reminded that they'd ask you to buy MINERAL WATER at $3++
What pissed me was the standard of the food. Come if you'd like to taste mediocre food.
I ordered the crabmeat & ebi burger and it was soooo bloody salty.
Is this the kind of food standard by a "celebrity" chef?
What's more, it costs $13.50++
Super disgusted by what I ate.
I couldn't even sleep well at night and felt like vomiting.
Presentable but CRAPPY food
I give this a 0.1/5

2D1N Malaysia Penang Guide - Accommodation, Georgetown Street Art and 10 MUST EAT Food
2D1N is enough.
Here's a guide on where to stay, where to eat and what to eat.
Tips ($$) are welcome :P
8. Famous Charcoal Char Kway Teow @ Kafe Heng Huat
We walked around 20 minutes just to get to this place, so if you're lazy, take a cab.
This is apparently a very famous CCT stall by an equally famous fierce auntie.
IDK the story but from the article, it seems like the auntie is very rude and fierce one.
I don't know la, cause bf was the one who ordered from her. But he mentioned he ordered from the assistant and both of them face black black one haha, must be the charcoal (*shivers*)
This CCT costs 9RM ok. Don't play play. Normal CCT costs only 3-5 RM.
Siao bo, got so nice meh?
Yes, it is really very delicious. I guess the higher price is also because of the prawns they used. The prawns were big and meaty!
9. Lor Mee and Fried Bee Hoon opposite the hotel
Breakfast was at the lor mee stall. Not bad la, ice coffee was great too
Bf ordered fried bee hoon as well. Also not bad lor
10. Curry Mee
Well, based on the poster above, I'd have thought that the stall would be filled with people.
But no, we were the only ones.
It felt like a home rather than a shop.
Anyway, the curry mee was yummy la, despite the lack of customers.
Love the pig blood omg!
That sums up my 2D1N birthday trip. At least it was affordable and kept my stomach happy!
Here's a guide on where to stay, where to eat and what to eat.
Tips ($$) are welcome :P
Accommodation
We stayed in Armenian Street Heritage Hotel.
Decent, but not top-notch.
Located in Georgetown and accessible to all the places I need to go
What to do? Sightsee, sightsee and sightsee
Wander and roam around because everywhere is great for photo-taking. From street art to retro shops, everywhere can be a scenic spot as long as you look good :P
1. Georgetown Street Art
2. Peranakan Mansion
Visit the Peranakan Museum as well, because there's nothing much left to see.
I left speechless as there were tons of gold and expensive jewellery in the museum.
WTH, the rich back in those days, were bloody rich! I don't wish to spoil too much fun, so here's a few teasers:
3. Chew, Tan, Lin Jetty
Enter here for another photography spot
What and where to eat - 10 MUST EAT
- Toh Soon Cafe
This old school kopitiam is good for breakfast, but hey, we saw it in the noon and thought, just have it for lunch man.
Total damage, 10 ringgit. I don't think if the guy "chop" me because we can't speak Malay, but never mind, the food is just too delicious.
Please get the nasi lemak. I love it, although it's cold
2. Beef Kway Teow Tng
Alright, I've no idea how to direct you here, but I guess most food in Penang are just as good.
This beef kway teow tng was really awesome. It is hidden in a coffee shop.
Surprisingly there were very few people, considering the soup was so delicious.
But then again, we came on a Thursday, so you know what to do.
3. Char Kway Teow near Tan Jetty
Not the best char kway teow, but decent as well. Do get the nutmeg drink which is not found in Singapore.
Weird at first sip, but refreshing at the next sip.
4. Street Food at Lebuh Kimberly
Lebuh Kimberly is a great place for food. Come at night because this is when the stalls are opened
Please don't order these 3 - kangkong w cuttlefish, haojian and chicken wings+ satay.
They sucks. We'd much prefer the ones in Singapore.
Ok, the haojian were not bad.
One of the must try is this dessert called Si Guo Tang. I don't know what's that, but all I can say is, it taste like Cheng Tng lor.
5. Breakfast at market near Chowrasta Bazaar
We had chee cheong fun with prawns and pork and kway teow tng. So-so lor.
But I love the drinks over at Penang. The ice milo was so gao (thick), an so was the ice coffee. Yummy
6. Must eat Chendol - Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendol
Cheap Cheap, 2.30 ringgit, but it's a very small bowl.
We came here twice, and shared a bowl twice. Bf must be sad because he wanted to have a whole bowl by himself but I said "NO".
Hoho, because I normally can't finish drinks and desserts all by myself.
Other than the chendol, you get to eat the Penang Laksa, which is different from Singapore Laksa that is coconut & curry based. Penang Laksa is sour, and uses prawn paste.
Try their Rojak as well. No youtiao one. Instead, there is green mango, pineapple, cucumber and another thing which idk what it is called -.-
7. Mugshot Cafe
Recommended by bf's friend. Food is affordable compared to Sg's cafe, but of course, I'd recommend Penang Street Food anytime la.
I think we came here because it was my birthday and bf said he wanted to buy me a cake. Oi, in the end he didn't (but that's also because I said I don't want haha)
So, we had a beef burger which was pretty nice as the patty was juicy (but I prefer Omakase burger, but bf say got fight, pi la). 14 RM for 1.
Apple juice with celery - RM 10, exp hor
Smoked salmon with cream cheese on a bagel, baked in the cool looking oven (more like it's for pizza) - RM 10.
Here's the address:
There's bakery just beside it called Rainforest. I didn't try it, but if you do, let me know :)

Yes, it is really very delicious. I guess the higher price is also because of the prawns they used. The prawns were big and meaty!
Remember to order a cup of lime juice. Great for their hot weather.
They have this weird rule that if you don't buy drink, you need to pay 50cents RM.
9. Lor Mee and Fried Bee Hoon opposite the hotel
Breakfast was at the lor mee stall. Not bad la, ice coffee was great too
Bf ordered fried bee hoon as well. Also not bad lor
