BALI 3D3N REJUVENATING TRIP - DAY 2 (the bale, geger beach/nusa dua beach, bali collection)

The funny thing for our trip was that both of us wanted to wake up early to catch the sunrise.
Guess what, on Day 2, I felt so tired (the bed was a magnet) and didn't want to wake up for sunrise.
On the last day, we woke up early to catch it, but.......the gloomy weather spoilt things.
Furthermore, I'm not sure if we could catch the sunrise from our villa, so take note please!

1. The Bale

Woke up at around 830am and started snapping shots of the villa.
So in love with this place, just because it's secluded.
Just so you know, most of the photos are edited (a tiny bit, mostly to enhance brightness)

The daybed which is wet from the night's rain!

Oh, did you know, The Bale offers complimentary breakfast and you can dine in the comfort of your villa?
For 3 days, we had our breakkie right in our villa, because we were too lazy too go out hehe
When our breakfast came, I told them to put our breakfast on the table by the poolside.

Sadly, the rain came and my bf and I had to move the whole table into the villa ourselves :(

 The Bale Benedict was good!

2. Geger private beach

Headed to the Geger private beach after our breakfast.
Don't get too amazed by the word "private"; it wasn't as amazing as I thought it to be.
There're seats for different hotels' customers.
For us, we had our own spot with free water, that's about it.

Took a stroll along the beach to explore more on our own.
Sunglasses from F21, Singapore.
As you can see, the day was really gloomy, how sad!
But the plus point was it wasn't scorching hot!
There wasn't much people at the beach, probably because it was a weekday.
Not much people doing water sports too

We spend the bulk of our time taking photos by the beach.
It was great having the beach to ourselves since there wasn't much people there!

3. Bali Collection

a. Coco supermarket

After the fun, we took our private car (plus points to The Bale) to Bali Collection.
Apparently there isn't much things at Nusa Dua.
The most famous shopping area would be here!
Being gluttons, both of us headed into a supermarket called Coco and bought some snacks to munch on at night.

 b. Starbucks Coffee

Saw this and decided to have the Mocha White Chocolate Pudding!
It didn't disappoint :)

Walked around and discovered plenty restaurants.
The one below has live music at 7.30pm, unfortunately we didn't stay too long for that

 c. Nusa Dua Beach

Both of us decided to venture out away from Bali Collection and reached the Nusa Dua Beach.

 d. Mai Mai

We headed back to Bali Collection for our dinner after goofing around.
Settled for Mai Mai because it was one of the top rated on Tripadvisor.
IMO it was average, not too expensive compared to Singapore prices, but probably very expensive compared to similar Balinese food found elsewhere.

Crispy Duck which is famous in Balinese food culture.
Total bill: 173,000 rupiah
Do note that many restaurants charges 21% taxes!

3. Back to The Bale

Decided to explore The Bale to check out other villas.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do so because most of the villas are locked LOL
I was just curious if my villa was the best.
But I guess Deluxe Single Pavilion should be better!

 Welcome to Villa 16&17's gate
Compare our gate to that of Villa 15 hehe; you can tell that our villa is bigger because it's a Double Pavilion!
After bathing and relaxing, we were "interrupted" by the room service which occurs every 7pm.
Kinda weird as to why they'd do room service while we were in the villa.
But I shan't complain since they did a good job tidying up my place.

And guess what, they set our bed nicely because it was a celebration for our anniversary!
 Free service:: a chocolate cake!

These are some of the snacks we bought at Coco supermarket.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE POPMIE INSTANT NOODLES!
*Slurps*, they cost only 6000 rupiah! And its so heavenly as night snacks.
So sad that we didn't buy more.
I had the urge to go back to the supermart and purchase more popmie but felt it was stupid lugging these home to Singapore.
After all, I don't really like instant noodles because they're unhealthy.

That concludes the end of Day 2 in Bali!
Aww, I miss the villa so much.
It felt good doing nothing and just relaxing there :)
I really hope I get the chance to go back again!
